To me, unless it's been in history books for ages and looked upon as an icon for its mysterious works. It should not be a wonder. Definitely not something that was recently built using the best technology out there.

Jordan is a country with only 4 million inhabitants not many have internet connections and not many have access to mobile phones to vote. Yet petra is known to be on of the top tourist destinations in the world.
