Brain freeze, or its given scientific name ' Spheno Palatine Gangleoneuralgia ' is a term used to describe a form of cranial pain or headache which people are known to sometimes experience after consuming cold beverages or foods such as ice cream, slurpees, or margaritas, particularly when consumed quickly.
In laymans terms, it is the result of the constriction of blood vessels in the stomach when put in contact with cold fluids.
The (pain) that you feel in your head is actually not occuring in your head at all but is diverted from your stomach to a nerve in your head which usually recieves this particular pain. It's a process is similar to that of someone having pain in their left arm after having a heart attack :(

uh oh... that doesn't sound too good! and I didn't know that one would feel pain in his/her left arm after a heart attack :S. But that explains few things to me... ahaaa... from now on, I'll break any heart that will attack me!!! :D

Unfortunately, I don't know kung fu. But how are you going to stop those hearts from attacking me?! Hearts don't have hair so you can't pull that.
I'll stomp them with my high heels and puncture the left ventricle :)

Del. Del. When something is just punctured, it can be repaired :) Now, if it was totally squashed, torn, incinerated, well :( that's another story :(
But I'd never :( I mean....
yea, it can be repaired, but won't be as good as it was before. Besides there is always a limit on how many punctures you can repair before you have to throw it away and get a brand new one.

Maybe.. and maybe not. these heart attacks are common and caused by the cold slushies and ice cream! so that also means that I have to stop buying those :S
Del, oh Del, heart attacks are not caused by slushies and ice cream! No my dearest Del. They are caused by clogged arteries by consuming too much of everything and not enough of the other :)
So don't stop buying them, well, at least u can buy them once a week, no harm will be done. Unless u weigh over 300 lbs, then I'd say, stop buying them :(
