Hey guys,
during my visit today to hagasny and while navigating from 1 topic to another, Kaspersky notified me:
Application AVANT.EXE contains link to web page EDITED used to steal passwords, credit card numbers and otherconfidential data. Denied.
15/12/2008 01:26:37 EDITED AVANT.EXE Denied: google-analistyc.net/* Databases
i have no other sites open and in total 31times denied access.
so, what's going on?

7elween and Sammy, I recommend you to use a more secure browser for now, some browsers and/or versions are vulnerable. Use Firefox 3 or IE7

But at least the problem has gone.
Firefox is the best, I'm sure you'll like it :thumb:

Sorry to hear about this mishap. I browse this forum using Firefox (with Adblock) and Google Chrome (no Adblock) and haven't seen it before. A couple more questions...
1) When you see this warning, Are you logged in (you shouldn't see ads) or browsing as a guest (there might be some ads)
2) What script does your anti virus software identify as the troublesome script?

hey 3ammo .. seems to be fine now, ran an update for windows last night and today as well, an I.E security update was released today, i think that took care of the i.e vulnerbility (if am not mistaken avant runs of sum i.e engines or codes)
answer to ur questions 3ammo:
- yes i was logged in, am always logged in :-D although i did signout and clear temp folder and restarted pc and still had same prob wen i logged back in ..
- Basically, kaspersky identified and unauthorised access was requested via Avant "google-analistyc.net/* Databases" and denied.
So, everyone running windows, run a Microsoft Update (http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/)!
the thing that bothered me the most about all this was the notification popups from kaspersky Lo_OL

Thanks 7elween but its not over, I got the message from my browser itself on one of my computers last night lol. Its weird because it seems to be happening sometimes with some people, not all the time with everyone.
I'll look into it.

lol 3ammo, I never got that message even when I disabled the Kaspersky to check what's happening.
I guess it is an update issue as 7elween has mentioned before, I update this silly windoze almost every week and I really am waiting to finish my work to format it and install linux instead. When I bought this laptop the OS folder was less than 1GB, now it is 8.56GB. You do the math lol
