funny thing life, it keeps changing, who'd have thought change was possible, aside from Darwin that is. Marx saw a great deal coming and still more yet to come. Wait til the global power collapses in on itself, or is completely taken over and changes its name to the United States of McDonalds.

Honestly people keep complaining, but look how much you use to get paid back in 1990 and how much you get paid now.
Minimum wage has doubled in my state since 1998.
So with higher cost of living, you get higher pay which is not true most of the time.
But hey it's life and you have to adjust your life on the things happening around you.

i think the Us is currently in a sad state of affairs. It has gone out of control. gas prices, lower living costs, education and over the top healthcare. I hate to say it, but we need start looking at how other countries are doing, to get back in order. It's unfortunate but true..too much shady business in the white house

Nobody so this coming? well, you can mark my words. It's gonna go worse and worse. The earth is round.. so as long as you keep running, it's always downhill ... loooool :mask:

Good for the people in your state cami :D. Min wage was $6.75 when I first put my feet here in Canada 10 years ago and now it's $7.25   Yea, I don't get paid minimum wage, but if I don't complain, the government would keep on increasing the taxes, provide less services and pocket the rest in the politicians' bank accounts (not the government's :nah: ).
A young family (couple in eairly 30s with 1 or no kids and average jobs) can not afford to buy an old house in Toronto (cuz the prices are too high in the city) and can not afford to buy an existing or old house in the suburbs and surrounding towns cuz, "the city is expanding" and these suburbs are likely to be called "city" soon. For example, a 3 bedroom house which is about an hour drive from Toronto is worth more than $450,000.
I can't adjust my life cuz that would mean I'd have to become a thief (actually a politician. loool).
