Have you ever had a "near death" experience? In other words, were you ever in a situation or accident, etc.. where you thought that you'll never make it out alive?

Once will never forget that moment, every time i think about it I see it in front of me happening. its like happened today.

I bought this 95 eclipse totally hooked up, I swear people eyes well drop when they see it on the road, anyway a month later, being on a hurry going to class, talking on a cell phone. stopped by stop sign complete stop, coming down from a steep hill, 20feet from the stop sign so i couldn't been speeding.

I guess black ice, the car slip so I am trying to control the car, the car spin once, twice, three times boom hit a phone bull. Weird thing I got out like nothing happened, cops came, people were nice stopping by asking if I need anything, brother came, told cup am all set I have final to go to, he said you find, my brother dropped me off class.
15minutes in class couldn't take it was shaking, Already late to class. Asked the Professor to leave, he said take care, and call me or email me if you need couple of days off.

OH yes I have & how can I forget something like this..

It was more than 3 years ago, I had surgery, I remember waking up very drowsy & confused but suddenly I couldn't breath..

Very bad experience when you try as hard as you can to take one single breath & you can't. I tried over & over again but nothing was happening at all, everyone around me was running around the room, then everything went black..

I later woke up in the ICU & learnt that this was a reaction I had to one of the drugs given to me..

God knows how much I appreciate every single breath I'm having after that incident..

It has happened to me as well..

I got really sick and no doctor would know what was wrong with me. I was driven from doctor to doctor, nearby cities/hospitals until one doctor finally told us that I had yellow fever. I was hospitalized for a week, & the day I was supposed to leave, they gave me the wrong vaccination, which prevents Malaria.

I remember holding my brothers hand so tight as we were leaving the hospital, then I felt so nauseous, couldn't breathe anymore, felt like I was under water trying to catch my breath.. I was still awake but couldn't see anything, I could only hear my brother saying my name over & over again.. I fainted & woke up 3 days later in London England hospital. Thank god I was flown there, I wouldn't have made it alive..

Near death experience :( so frightening.

When I was 5 years old, I was riding in my daddy's truck and the tail gate opened and I rolled down and scraped my face :( on the gravel. Thank God that the car in back stopped and my daddy stopped also and picked me up and he cried with me. That was the last time he let me ride in the back :(
